June 15, 2006 - bmi, the second largest airline operating out of London Heathrow, one of the world's busiest airports, has signed a contract for Revenue Accounting processing services with Kale, a leading provider of software solutions and outsourced services to the Travel and Transportation industry. Kale will provide revenue accounting processing services to bmi from its Managed Processing Services centre (Kale MPS™) in Mumbai , India and the value of the contract over a 5 year period is estimated to be approximately GBP 8 million. |

Kale will provide complete revenue accounting services including the processing of sales and uplifts, claims to credit card companies and to other airlines for interline coupons, declaration of revenue with comprehensive account postings for the general ledger, management of deals, and a decision support Business Intelligence system. Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Mr. Nigel Turner , Chief Executive Officer , bmi said: “Our business objective was to significantly reduce our operational costs and improve the revenue accounting process. To achieve this, we needed to use an industry standard solution, and outsource the work to an accredited and established service provider with the requisite processes to ensure business continuity and low risk.” |

The contract is governed by a Service Level Agreement to ensure that current operational timescales are maintained and improved, and will be performed by Kale MPS™ from its offices in Mumbai and Pune to provide maximum resilience. To provide the service, Kale is using its award-winning proprietary software solution REVERA TM, which includes APEX TM , Kale's proration system chosen by IATA as one of the two solutions of choice for its Neutral Fare Proration service, and PRISM, for gathering business intelligence.
