India based software service provider Satyam Computer Services is partnering with XAPT Soft Inc. and Microsoft to provide advanced Dealer Management solutions to the world's leading automotive and heavy equipment manufacturers and their dealer networks. Satyam and XAPT will jointly develop solutions based on Microsoft's Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) product to efficiently address common dealer problems; establish standardized integration points between OEM and dealers; achieve integration with commonly-used applications right out-of-the-box; and enhance ease of use and administration.

Oracle is acquiring LogicalApps, a leading Compliance solutions provider and longstanding Oracle partner. LogicalApps is a privately held company founded in 2000 and head quartered in Irvine, CA.It is backed by Sequoia Capital and Mission Ventures.Thorugh this acquisition, Oracle will strengthen its Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) application suite by integrating real-time policy enforcement for critical business processes. Oracle, which has lagged behind SAP in GRC products, can bridge the gap with this acqisition. Financial terms of the acquistion were not known.
