HighJump Software Launches Advanced Billing Management Solution for Logistics Service Providers

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (Feb. 19, 2008) – HighJump Software, a 3M company, a global provider of Supply Chain execution solutions, today announced the release of HighJump Billing Management. HighJump Billing Management is designed to improve billing accuracy and capture charges on a client-by-client basis for third-party Logistics (3PL) providers, Logistics service providers (LSP), and outsourced service providers (OSP).

HighJump Billing Management gives companies full visibility into actual costs with comparisons to what was invoiced. Warehouse Productivity Increases with Cadre Technologies’ New Mobile Logistics Feature

Next Generation Software Provides Advancements for “Pick and Pack” Operations

DENVER, Colo., – Cadre Technologies has developed the most efficient tool for warehouse employees to optimally perform their jobs: Cadence Mobile Logistics (CML). CML is a Microsoft Windows-based mobile-user system that lets warehouse workers capture data through touch-screen, scanner (bar-code), camera, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) or voice Technology on a single hand-held computer. This advanced application is revolutionizing data capture in the warehousing industry.

CML connects the mobile worker with the company’s main database, updating in real-time to put the most up-to-the-minute information in the user’s hands. CML increases performance of mobile warehouse workers by letting the employee choose the most effective way to receive and input data based on work conditions, including a completely hands-free method for voice-directed picking and a bilingual language option. This lets the worker verbally communicate with the host application to confirm when the job is complete and receive another assignment. Mobile workers use a headset with a microphone and speaker, which attaches to a holster-supported mobile computer. The benefit is that the worker’s hands and eyes are completely focused on performing the desired task, not on typing or scanning information. One of the unique features of CML is its complete versatility. If the work situation is better handled by using a keyboard or scanner, those input modes are just as easy to use, and the worker can switch between methods at any time, even during the same job.
