Mark Dorazio to Direct Sales in North Ohio

In his new role, Dorazio will direct all sales and marketing activities in the northern-most portion of Ohio with a population of more than 4 million. |

Also Launches Biodiesel Initiative At Worldport Air Hub
ATLANTA, Oct. 8, 2007 - UPS (NYSE:UPS) today announced it was adding 306 alternative fuel vehicles to its "green fleet" by placing an order for 167 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) delivery trucks while taking delivery of 139 new propane delivery trucks in North America. Additionally, the company has launched an initiative to use biodiesel fuel in its ground support vehicles at the UPS Worldport® air hub in Louisville. |

The CNG trucks will be deployed early next year in Dallas, Atlanta and four California cities - Los Angeles, Ontario, San Ramon and Fresno. They will join more than 800 such vehicles already in use in the United States. The propane vehicles are joining nearly 600 propane trucks already operating in Canada and Mexico. |

Accord Is Negotiated A Year Early
CHICAGO, Sept. 30, 2007 - UPS (NYSE:UPS) today announced it had reached a tentative agreement with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters on a new five-year contract covering approximately 240,000 full- and part-time package employees in the United States.
The tentative contract, which now must be presented to UPS Teamster-represented employees for ratification, was negotiated nearly a year in advance of the current contract's expiration on July 31, 2008. Upon ratification, most provisions of the new agreement will take effect on August 1st, 2008. |

August 15th, 2007 (Gainesville, GA) Eskimo Cold Storage completes a system conversion and goes live with Datex International’s WMS 3PL for Cold Storage in their new facility located 5 miles south of Gainesville, GA.
Eskimo Cold Storage is a new company that opened its doors in the spring 2007. It is located in Gainesville, GA, south of Highway 129, in the triangle between I-85 and I-985. Eskimo’s facility is 125,000 square feet with a capacity to store over 16,000 pallets of frozen food products and serves primarily the poultry industry. The system used until now did not provide the solutions needed to handle their operations. “We started our operations with an in-house system, but unfortunately, it was not providing us with everything that we needed” commented Karen Reece, VP. The turn-key solution selected provided the company with an increased visibility of their inventory, mobility in their warehouse, and real-time information, which allows the company to provide a higher level of customer service. |

On-target route and fuel savings achieves reduction in carbon emissions
Dorking, Surrey, 06 June 2007: Central to its goal to reduce operating costs and improve customer service, DHL Exel has adopted Paragon Software Systems' routing and scheduling solution for use on its BP forecourt and convenience stores contract.
Previously, DHL Exel operated a system of fixed routes delivering chilled and ambient goods to 300 BP stores throughout England from its Lutterworth depot, supported by outbases at Belshill and the Golden Fleece Services at Junction 42 of the M6. By adopting Paragon's flexible, automated solution, DHL Exel has been able to reduce its 61 routes to between 47 and 53 per day. |
