PITTSBURGH, PA -- New industrial packaging materials, designed specifically for the steel industry and other industrial users, will give steelmakers more choices for disposing of waste and byproducts, including new options for recycling, a packaging expert told a recent Steel Manufacturers Association (SMA) conference.
Kenneth Grumski, director of MHF Logistical Solutions' (MHF-LS') packaging affiliate, previewed the new line of packaging that he said will offer steelmakers more cost-effective options for transporting waste and byproducts, enabling them to send more materials to recycling facilities rather than landfills. |
