REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., 20-AUG-2007 05:00 AM Thilmany Papers, a leading manufacturer of specialty lightweight papers and business unit of Packaging Dynamics Corporation, has implemented Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in order to create a single, integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that will help streamline operations, improve decision-making and reduce costs.
After Thilmany became an independent business in June 2005, it needed to replace multiple legacy systems - including SAP - in an effort to create a single infrastructure that would deliver enhanced visibility across the organization. After an extensive evaluation process, Thilmany chose Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne because it provided integrated functionality, could be quickly deployed and would deliver an attractive total cost of ownership. |
