Under the terms of a recently signed agreement, Ingram Micro Inc. will leverage Ariba’s on-demand sourcing software, deep commodity expertise and services to drive savings and efficiencies that benefit its operations and its customers.

U.S. Postal Service has sourced dozens of projects across the organization with CombineNet's Technology

PITTSBURGH, PA—
CombineNet announced that the United States Postal Service has extended its license to use CombineNet's advanced sourcing technologies for two more years. In the three years that the Postal Service has used CombineNet’s Advanced Sourcing Application Platform (ASAP), they have implemented the Technology across multiple spend categories, sourcing roughly $1 billion and realizing more than 35x Return on Investment. CombineNet ASAP enables the Postal Service to strategically source materials and services across multiple categories, including transportation (airfreight, ocean freight and holiday season truckload shipping), services (trash and recycling removal, vehicle wash), mail equipment materials (mail containers and pallet boxes), as well as the supply of fuel for its fleet vehicles.

Decideware’s partnership with ADR International yields benefits for procurement professionals

Decideware, an on-demand software company offering Strategic Sourcing software solutions, and ADR International Purchasing Consultants, a global consulting firm specialising in Procurement and purchasing, have announced a strategic partnership that will benefit Procurement professionals in Australia.

The two firms will jointly develop and co-promote ADR’s RNA™ - Relational Needs Analysis – a web-based diagnostic tool that analyses a client’s supplier relationship management practices and competencies.

Initially the agreement will cover the Australian market, with the expectation that the venture will extend globally in the future. The partners also see other synergies between their product offerings, which may lead to more joint initiatives.
